About the author

The author of this website, Christophe Jacquet, is a computer scientist and engineer. He is also a rail fan since childhood... He has been haunting the Chamonix and Trient valleys and their railways since his first anniversary. → The author’s personal website.

Site history

This website first went online in August 2000. It has been regularly improved and updated since then.

The website was originally only available in French; the English version was released in February 2022. The English version still has less content than the French one. If you can read some French, you might thus want to visit the French version of this site.
