Les Praz de Chamonix, kilometer 21.494

Les Praz station serves la Flégère gondola and the Index chairlift. These lifts connect the valley to a large ski area and they are the starting point of some of the most scenic hikes of the region: Lac Blanc (“White Lake”), Lacs Noirs (“Black Lakes”), Lacs des Chéserys, etc.

In the old days, les Praz station had several sidings and a freight yard. It is now a simple stop. The passenger building has been sold to a private individual.
